Have you ever visited a website, read a flyer or even an article from a company only to notice a small error? Maybe something was visually off, misspelt or obviously wrong or mistaken.
Now I ask you. What was your opinion then and there? What was it before?
If you are like most people, your opinion of the company plummeted there. At least for a short while. But it never quite recovered.
Errors have a way of changing our perception of something quicker than most other things. For that reason, it is so important to avoid them. If not for the fact that incorrect is never good.
You will be able to correct the error of course, but no matter how small they are, they will have left a dent somewhere. That dent takes much more effort to straighten out.
So instead, do your best to avoid errors completely. No matter how small they are, they have a pesky tendency to appear (if we are not careful) and be more damaging than we think.
