When you publish a new blog post, how often do you promote it? Most companies and bloggers share it with their audiences on publish date. After that, it is quickly forgotten.
Your piece, however, has a much longer shelf life than that. It can even be part of an “evergreen content” collection. Posts that have content that isn’t bound by the time. It is always relevant.
Make sure you use this to the maximum. Tools like CoSchedule (which we use ourselves) can help you set up automatic re-sharing on social media. But do add in your entire mix. Social media, e-mail newsletter, Facebook groups and more. Just don’t do it only once.
